​​Our annual CT. Judges Cup has been renamed and dedicated to our beloved friend and Judging partner, Ro Carlucci.

 

Ro was a teacher and coach in Stamford for 35 years. Besides coaching tennis, basketball and field hockey, Ro coached West Hill High School Gymnastics with great success and became High School Coach of the Year in 2003. 

She was a NAWGJ Gymnastic Judge for 30 years and had many accomplishments in both coaching and Judging.

Ro is also a 2014 Connecticut Gymnastics Hall of Fame Inductee.

  Ro was a proud survivor of breast cancer and began a second career as an artist!

She passed away due to a car accident while driving home from a state competition in terrible rain conditions in April 2007.

  She was 57 years old.

 

    Ro Loved making Teddy Bear Awards for our "Teddy Tumble" Judges Cup. 

We have since renamed our Judges Cup to " The Ro Carlucci " Judges Cup , 

after Covid, we renamed our Judges Cup:

" The Ro Carlucci Judges Cup To Go".
